Help! I'm Married to an Incubus!
Chapter 1
I was very confused after reading all the comments.
Simon Morrison and I had been married for five years, during which time he had been cold and distant toward me. I couldn't believe someone like that would do such things.
But now that I had caught him in a compromising situation, I couldn't help but continue taunting him. "And here I thought you were some noble, chivalrous gentleman. Look at you now, so desperate and needy. How pathetic."
Simon did not say anything, but the hand in his pocket was tightly clenched. Faintly, a vein bulged on his forehead.
"Jessica is too bold. She's stabbing him right where it hurts! No wonder she ends up getting locked up by Simon later."
"Oh my god, please stop hurting Simon! Hasn't he suffered enough? He hasn't dared to even touch you after marrying you, and you keep mocking him!"
"Simon loves you so much. He was so happy when he married you, but life after marriage has been nothing but misery. Just wait—when he finally breaks, you'll regret your actions!"
Amidst the stream of comments, I caught on to an important piece of information.
Simon loved me?
How was that possible?
I had known from the start that I was living in the world of a romance novel.
Simon was the supporting male lead, while I was the evil female antagonist.
In the story, the male and female leads were supposed to live happily ever after.
So, to ensure that I wouldn't ruin the main storyline, Simon proposed a political marriage to my family. They were desperate to marry me off since I had ruined my own reputation by trying to frame the female lead.
Thus, Simon and my family, the Cunninghams, came to an agreement, and I became Simon's wife.
However, Simon did not love me. He never touched me in the two years since our marriage.
I hated him too. I made trouble for him at every turn, always finding ways to upset him.
Just as I was lost in thought, more comments began appearing.
"Reminder: Simon's Evilness Level is at 99%. One more harsh word, and he might completely lose control!"
"Amazing! Are we going to get some action in the study? We're in for a treat!"
When I saw the dark expression on Simon's face, I swallowed the insult at the tip of my tongue, adjusted my tone, and said reluctantly, "I mean… you look pretty cute when you blush."
Simon remained stoic. He gave me a cold look, then took his blanket and turned away. "I'm sleeping in the study tonight. I won't bother you."
"Oh no, Simon feels hurt. Time for him to comfort himself with Jessica's lace lingerie."
"She doesn't know that yet! Every time Simon gets upset, he steals her lingerie. He's ruined so many of them!"
"Not just her lingerie. Did you see those toys in the study? My, even a veteran would blush!"
Simon had a private study that no one was ever allowed to enter.
He claimed it was filled with confidential company documents. I had no interest in such things, so I had never attempted to set foot inside.
However, after seeing the comments, I was intrigued. While he wasn't paying attention, I slipped into the study.
It was late at night by then. Finally, I saw what the room was truly hiding.
The walls in the room were covered with my photos and on the desk piled my worn bras and skimpy nightgowns.
Simon, usually austere and ascetic, had his nose buried in one of my lingerie as he caressed my face in a photo. His eyes were burning with a twisted obsession.
"Jessie, what am I supposed to do about you?" I heard him mumble. "I want to leave my mark on every inch of your body. I want the world to know who you belong to."
As he spoke, he lowered his head and kissed my garments repeatedly.
Chapter 2
I couldn't believe that this was the cold and distant Simon Morrison, CEO of the Morrison Group.
Trembling in shock, I quickly turned away, but his low, husky murmurs still found their way to my ears. "Jessie…"
"Jessica saw him! Oh my god, how is Simon going to live this down?"
"Oh, don't worry. According to the extra chapter, Jessica will be locked up in the study tomorrow."
"There will be a major twist tomorrow. Jessica will finally provoke Simon enough for him to snap!"
"See that custom-made whip? That will be used on Jessica tomorrow!"
Because of Simon's behavior, I believed what the comments were saying without a doubt.
To protect myself, I decided to be careful from now on and avoid Simon as much as possible.
The next day, I went out of my way to steer clear of Simon, so we did not run into each other for the entire day.
At the end of the day, just as I let out a sigh of relief and prepared to take a shower, I saw Simon in the bathroom, completely naked.
He was half-leaning against the edge of the bathtub, his fair, toned chest completely exposed. Water droplets slid down his elegant neck, trickled over his collarbone, and rolled down his well-defined abs.
His incubus features were starting to show.
Before this, he would always be dressed in impeccably smart suits when around me. It was only now that I realized just how perfect his physique was.
Recalling what he had done with that body last night, my face instantly turned red. A sudden heat rushed up to my cheeks. Covering my face hurriedly, I quickly turned away.
"Why is Jessica covering her nose? Does Simon have BO? That shouldn't be. The book says that Simon smells of nice cologne."
"Could it be that she was scared by his incubus form and is trying to escape?"
"Damn. She's good. Just that one simple action is enough to push Simon to the brink. He's sensitive enough as it is."
Meanwhile, Simon's voice was as cold as ice as he spoke. "Jessica, why are you running? Do I disgust you so much, or are you simply afraid of me in my incubus form?"
"I bet that no matter what she answers, Simon will make her cry anyway."
"If she really tried to escape, her fate would be even worse."
Chapter 3
"Reminder: his Evilness Level is at 99.5%. Jessica, darling, I really think you should stop provoking him."
"Trust me. If you just coax him well, he'll instantly turn into a purring kitten."
Clinging to that suggestion like my final lifeline, I took a deep breath and turned back. "No, I'm not disgusted or afraid of you. I just didn't want to disturb your bath, so I wanted to leave. But since we're both here, why don't I join you?"
"What? What is Jessica doing?"
"I think she's plotting something big."
"Oh, Simon's Evilness Level went down to 99%."
Gathering my courage, I stepped closer to Simon.
I was only wearing a silk nightgown, as I was planning to get a shower. The clinging fabric outlined my perfect curves.
Simon stared at me in surprise. Gritting my teeth, I stepped into the bathtub.
Amid the rising steam, I gently nestled against his chest, burying my face in the crook of his neck and taking a deep breath. "You smell nice, honey."
I watched his face closely after I said that.
The steam obscured his expression, but I could feel the tension in his body.
"What's going on? Simon's Evilness Level just dropped to 95%!"
"I think he shouldn't turn evil. Have you guys forgotten? He locked Jessica up and tortured her to the brink of death. Then, when she committed suicide, he killed himself as well!"
"Jessica, darling, just keep coaxing him. If you do it well, he'll be forever loyal to you. Otherwise, you'll be in huge trouble!"
Simon closed his eyes. When he opened them again, his gaze had cleared. "What are you playing at now, Jessica?"
I glanced up at him cautiously and wrapped my arms around his neck. "I'm sorry for before," I said softly. "Don't be mad at me, okay?"
Simon closed his eyes, seemingly unaffected, but the comment section flashed again.
"Evilness Level: 90%."
Emboldened, I wiggled slightly in his lap. "Please don't be mad."
Chapter 4
Simon did not answer me, but his hand slid up to my waist. His touch was cold and electrifying.
"I don't mind your incubus form. I think it's sexy," I continued, reaching out to trace my fingers along the lines of his waist.
The comment section was in an uproar. "Jessica's playing with fire. She really shouldn't be touching him right now!"
Simon's crimson eyes snapped up to meet mine as his hands tightened around my waist. "Jessica, just tell me what you want."
I didn't actually know where I was going with this, either. All I knew was that I didn't want to be locked up in his study.
Simon owned all of Morrison Group. He was powerful. I was no match for him.
If I wanted to calm him down, I had to try a softer approach.
Gathering my courage, I wrapped my arms around his neck and awkwardly pressed a kiss to his lips.
His breathing grew erratic. I felt his body temperature spike suddenly.
His ascetic mask cracked in that instant. He grabbed my hand and looked at me darkly. "You know I'm an incubus, Jessica. Do you also know that incubi have heat cycles?
"I'm currently in the middle of one."
